Love these breeches so much I bought a second color. They are more substantial than tights but FAR cooler than my closet full of popular brand name breeches. I ride in the Florida heat and somehow don’t melt into my saddle like a sad popsicle. They’re cool, comfy, and breathable (as cool as you can be in one thousand percent humidity) while providing a smooth forgiving look to my leg. Basically the unicorn of pants.

These have the Goldilocks of silicone stickiness- not too much not too little. And the colors are gorgeous!

I have two requests for next year’s summer designs:

1. Please add at least one traditional pocket. Deep pockets are great for my phone, but I run out of curse words when I am elbow deep and performing extreme yoga to dig out a treat. The treats also spoil the smooth look of my leg that the amazing fabric otherwise provides.
2. Many (most) of us of “an age” have acquired a lovely little pooch (that was not invited and will not leave!!). It’s like a little midlife parting gift from our metabolism (if you are under 40 you will meet this intruder soon enough - enjoy your flat stomachs girls!!!). We could use a bit more tummy control. Not a medieval torture device, just a little up front whisper of “hey girl, I got you.” (But don’t mess with the leg fabric or lower the waistline! They are perfect!)

I wore these for two lessons prior to show. I am a fan. Of course I still have to do the work to better my position but my leg is more stable and my heals are holding over fences. So full of hope. Thank you. They are snug in my show boots, I feel like I've ridden without stirrups. Great aid.

The double neck strap gave me a very secure feeling on my young horse.
Now that I am relaxed, my horse relaxes as well.
He accepts the Strap very well, even when I hold it constantly.

The first show I used the Comfort girth at we had our best dressage score yet!

I was cautious about spending the money for the Correct Connect neck strap but I am so glad I did! I was in love from the moment I took it out of the package. It is buttery soft, so supple, beautiful quality, fits perfectly and gives me the security in the saddle I need as an older lady returning to riding on a very green horse.

Truly, my confidence strap. My riding, especially the canter has taken on a whole new dimension. Even if I don't use it, I know it is there for "issues"! Has increased my confidence in my riding. I've been recommending them to the other "older" ladies in the barn.

These reins are a game changer for me. I’m 62 years old and my hands have worked so hard the last 40 years! My grip has been so weak. It took nothing for my mare to barely tug my reins out of my hands! Also, I could not keep my reins as short as needed, my grip just didn’t have it. (look at my photo how long my reins got by the time I was canter at my show in 2023) Once i got these reins my mare has changed so much in her shape. I can finally keep them where they need to be while i work her body into the correct supple shape.
So you can see my purpose of buying these reins was for keeping the length that I wanted. I love them.

I’ve used the same basic polo style breast plate for years but after losing my 25 year old small Anglo Arab, I opted for a big shouldered Hanoverian and my 20+ year old polo plate wasn’t going to fit the new girl. I’ve always abhorred the between the leg breast plates and do not like attaching to the saddle D rings, so was happy to find another option besides the basic polo style.

The leather quality is good & the brown color matches my French saddle well. The L fits my 16.2 Hano, I maybe could have done the M on the longest holes vs the large on the smaller ones; 16.2 seems dead bang in the middle of the fit.

The horse seems very happy and content while going in the free motion breast plate. The cross the neck strap doesn’t wiggle, sitting far enough back as to be visually distinct from a ‘Oh Crap’ jumping strap, which is a plus - you won’t grab the plate by mistake if your horse gets feisty on a gallop or schooling cross country.
